Guided Media Capture adds a guided photo workflow to ServiceBridge. Office teams set which photos a job requires, and technicians are guided to capture them in the field. Photos are saved to the Work Order or Estimate.
📝 Note: Photo To-Dos require iOS version 7.10.0 or Android version 4.30 to show up on Estimates and Work Orders. If you don’t see these features, update the app through the App Store or Google Play.
🚀 What’s Launching
Photo To-dos (ServiceBridge Web): Create To-dos that require photos, select photo types (such as Before and After), and set a minimum number of photos for each type. Photo To-dos can be added to Work Orders, Estimates, and Job Templates.
Guided Capture (ServiceBridge Mobile): The Photos tab on a Work Order lists required photo To-dos and shows progress as you capture photos. Required photos can be captured in any order.
Ghost Overlay: When capturing an “after” photo, a faint image of the “before” photo appears on the camera to help line up the same angle.
Notes, Labels, and Markup: Notes, labels, and markup (arrows, shapes, and text) can be added to any photo.
Required Photo Enforcement: When required To-dos are turned on, a job can’t be finished until required photos are captured or the technician records a reason they can’t be captured.
Review in ServiceBridge Web: Photos, notes, and To-dos display on the Work Order or Estimate.
🌟 Benefits
Consistent documentation: Required photo types and minimums help make sure each job is documented the same way.
Comparable before and after photos: The Ghost Overlay helps technicians capture matching photo pairs.
Organized photos: Photos are sorted by category on the Work Order or Estimate, making them easier to find.
Complete job records: Required photos, or a recorded reason they couldn’t be captured, are on file before a job is finished.
Clear guidance for technicians: Technicians can see which photos are needed for each job.
