Release Notes - ServiceBridge Sessions Limited to 2

Announces a new security enhancement for mobile app user logins.

🚀 What's Launching

Starting September 15, 2026, ServiceBridge limits how many mobile devices can be signed in under a single user account at the same time.

Each user account can have two active mobile sessions at once.

If you sign in on a third mobile device, your oldest active mobile session is automatically signed out. Your two most recent sessions stay signed in.

You can remain signed in on two mobile devices at the same time, such as a phone and a tablet, without any interruption to your work.

Web sessions are not affected in this phase and do not count toward the two-session limit.

Note: There is currently no in-app message when an older session is signed out, so if you use more than two mobile devices, keep this in mind.

🍎 iOS users: An app update is required to enforce the session limit when signing in with a username and password. No update is needed for Android, or for iOS when using PIN or AutoLogin sign-in.

🔐 Why We Are Making This Change

Your account's security is our priority. This update helps in a few key ways:

  • Reduces the number of places your credentials are active at once.

  • Makes unusual sign-in activity easier to detect.

  • Allows for a faster response, so access can be cut off quickly if a login is ever compromised.

  • Continues to fully support field technicians who use two mobile devices at the same time.
