About the Home Page

The Home Page is your centralized business hub in ServiceBridge, focusing on key revenue metrics to help you spot trends. From the Home Page, you can access real-time, actionable information, such as your Work Orders, Estimates, Tasks, and upcoming PTO.

Additionally, if you have Fleet Tracking integrated with GPS Insight or ClearPath, you’ll see your Vehicle Maintenance schedules.

You can access it by clicking on the Home option in the navigation menu (left-hand side of the screen).

A core set of charts is available to any user:

This section contains Work Orders, Estimate,s and Tasks sections. A date filter is available; the default date is set to "Today".

Statuses greater than zero appear as blue links. Click on the link for a pre-filtered list view for that record type.

The Availability tile shows absences created in the Personnel section of the web app. This Home Page chart gives you an at-a-glance view of the selected date's absences so you can plan for these absences in advance.

*If your business is integrated with GPS Insight products such as ClearPath Tracking or GPSI Fleet Tracking, you will see information about upcoming vehicle maintenance in this chart.

This powerful snapshot helps you to keep on top of operational data, all from a single home page view.

For businesses not yet using a fleet tracking solution, this chart includes a link where you can learn more about this feature.

Sales and revenue data charts require additional permissions. Available Sales Data charts are as follows:

To provide a user with view and manage access to sensitive sales and revenue data, enable "View Revenue Charts in Home Dashboard" in the Role Permissions table for the applicable user.

You can access user permissions in the Personnel Settings area of the web app.

The Owed vs. Received chart provides an overview of your business's approximate cash flow. The two columns let you compare completed work with payments received, and see how quickly those payments are collected.

Good cash flow is essential to the smooth running of a business, so ideally, you should see a close match between monies owed and payments collected.

The Owed figure is calculated on the value of Work Orders that are completed or invoiced. This represents work done for which you are owed money.

The Received figure is calculated on payments received - either by collecting payment in the field or through the Pay-Now Portal - and on Invoices that have been marked as Paid.

Hover your mouse over the Received column to see the Average Time to Payment figure. This figure is calculated monthly by calculating the average time from work completion/invoicing to when the payment is received. Keeping this figure low typically indicates your accounting practices are running efficiently.

The Invoices Report is a simple chart that helps you identify if there are aspects of your invoicing process that need attention and/or any Past Due invoices.

This report shows the number of invoices in each category (Open, Past Due, or Paid) and the dollar value of these invoices.

This interactive chart shows monthly revenue trends over the last 18 months, helping you spot seasonal patterns and prepare for similar upcoming fluctuations if necessary. Hover over each bar to see details about that month.

The Sales Revenue chart shows revenues over the last five (5) years, including a year-on-year comparison. You can view quarterly or annual revenues for the selected year.
