What's New in this Release

ServiceBridge has introduced Map 2.0, an enhanced mapping feature that integrates fleet tracking with job scheduling, providing a seamless and visually rich experience for users. This feature allows customers integrated with GPSI or ClearPath to manage jobs, track vehicles, and make informed decisions in real-time directly within the ServiceBridge platform.

Feature Overview

  • Integrated Map View: Combines jobs from the Field Service Management (FSM) system with vehicle locations from GPSI or ClearPath.

  • Real-Time Vehicle Tracking: Vehicle locations update every 30 seconds.

  • Side-by-Side List View: Enables quick searching and pinpointing of jobs and vehicles on the map.

  • Job Scheduling: Schedule and assign jobs directly within the map interface.

  • Vehicle Data Insights: Access key vehicle information, including location, ignition status, driver details, last reported status, and odometer readings.

  • Quick Links: Click through to view more detailed vehicle information in the fleet tracking application.

  • Improved Filtering: Simplified controls for date, job status, teams, and vehicles.

How to Enable the Feature

Map 2.0 is automatically available for all customers. No additional actions are required to enable this feature. However, customers must have an active integration with GPS Insight or ClearPath fleet tracking systems to utilize the map's vehicle tracking capabilities. Map 2.0 is an exciting step in our journey to bring you the best Job Scheduling and Vehicle Tracking experience in the market, but it is just that, a first step. There is more to come!

I am not able to view routing, vehicle history, or make bulk work order assignments, is this available?

Some functionalities, such as routing, vehicle history, and bulk work order assignment, are planned for future releases.

I do not see vehicles or vehicle data, is this unavailable?

An active integration with GPS Insight or ClearPath is required to display vehicles.

Customers without this integration will only see job data, not vehicle data.

Where is the Dispatch Timeline in Map 2.0?

The dispatch timeline feature from the legacy Map is not yet available in the new version.

Can I still use Tracking and Map?

Yes, you can continue to use these maps, but we highly recommend using Map 2.0 to get the best of all maps when it comes to available features and functionalities.

However, we do understand that while the new map simplifies many tasks, users accustomed to the legacy map may require some time to adapt to the updated interface.
